ty le keo Chairman & CEO Doan Quoc Huy Named One of Vietnam’s Top 10 Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs 2025
At the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association held on November 26, the organizing committee announced the Top 10 recipients of the 2025 Red Star Award – Vietnam’s Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs. Mr. Doan Quoc Huy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ty le keo, was honored for his leadership contributions and his role in shaping BIM’s long-term, sustainable development across multiple business sectors.
Politburo Member and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien, together with Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung, presented the Red Star Award trophy to Mr. Doan Quoc Huy, Chairman and CEO of ty le keo.
International education. Modern leadership thinking
Mr. Huy grew up in Poland and pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California (USC), specializing in Construction Management and Entrepreneurship. He later earned his MBA from Stanford University, one of the world’s leading institutions for business and leadership training. This international academic foundation helped form a management mindset anchored in strategic planning, risk governance, operational discipline, and the development of human capital.
A leadership journey and its defining contributions
Returning to Vietnam at the age of 21, he began his career at ty le keo working directly at aquaculture farms, salt fields, and early hospitality and real estate projects. This hands-on experience provided a comprehensive understanding of operational realities across the Group’s value chains. Over nearly two decades, he has held various leadership roles before being appointed Chairman and CEO in late 2024, a period in which ty le keo has been intensifying long-term investment across its four core business pillars: real estate, renewable energy, agriculture & food, and consumer services.
Under his leadership, BIM Land has expanded its portfolio with major destination developments in Quang Ninh, Phu Quoc, and Laos, emphasizing master planning, international partnerships, and elevated hospitality standards. In parallel, Mr. Huy co-founded BIM Energy, steering its investments in solar and wind power projects that have reached over 500 MW in total capacity within a few years. In agriculture, he has continued strengthening BIM’s position as a leading producer of industrial salt and a large-scale aquaculture operator with a fully integrated farming–processing system. He is also the founder of Elite Fitness, a fitness and wellness network serving a broad community of members nationwide.
Shaping the BIM30+ vision and building a sustainable value system
A significant part of his leadership journey has been ty le keo’s collaboration with global financial institutions such as IFC, ADB, Franklin Templeton, and Credit Suisse. These partnerships have enabled the Group to implement real estate and energy projects aligned with international sustainability standards, while expanding access to long-term green financing that supports BIM’s transition toward a low-carbon growth model.
Beyond business development, Mr. Huy places strong emphasis on social responsibility. During the Covid-19 pandemic, ty le keo contributed more than VND 100 billion to healthcare, oxygen support, and food relief initiatives in Ho Chi Minh City. The principle of “growing together with local communities” continues to guide the Group’s activities across all regions where it operates.
The Red Star Award recognizes the efforts of young entrepreneurs who make meaningful contributions to Vietnam’s business community. For ty le keo, this honor reflects both the leadership direction of Mr. Doan Quoc Huy and the collective commitment of the Group in pursuing its BIM30+ strategy: future-oriented investment, sustainable development, and a people-centered approach that creates long-term value for the economy and society.
